Christopher graduated on the
president’s list with his web design diploma from the Digital Arts Technology Training Institute (DarTT). Prior to becoming a web designer Chris worked for 15 years in customer service. From managing restaurants and movie theaters, to running a lawn care company. Combining his customer service skills with his web design and development skills helps him run a business he can be proud of.

Design and build a variety of websites,logos and brochures for various clients. Even though the company started in 2010, I have been working as a freelancer while working other jobs since 2005.
Travelodge - Front Desk
2008 -2009
I was responsible for checking guests in and out, taking reservations and payments, the nightly audit and creating the housekeeping schedule.
Subway Restaurant - Manager
2006 -2008
I was responsible for training the staff, inventory, hiring, cash deposits, customer service and the schedule. I was also responsible for running the Subway inside the old Winnipeg Arena when hockey or any special events took place.
Tim Hortons - Manager
2004 - 2008
I was responsible for all the day to day operations of the restaurant. I created duty checklists for the staff for the store I managed that were eventually adopted and put into place for the entire franchise.

HTML / CSS 
This is the foundation for almost all of my work. I learned this first and have been doing it the longest. I use current HTML5 and CSS3 to code websites and WordPress themes. My code is semantic, easy to read, and well commented on.
Photoshop
There isn't anything I can not manipulate or create in Photoshop. From creating web elements to editing old photos. From cutting out images, adding effects. I am fully able to bend all of the tools in Photoshop to my needs.
WordPress 
Most of the websites I build are with WordPress. I have created themes from scratch and have edited others. I can edit already built plugins for it, and I can style anything to do with WordPress.
JQuery 
I can implement any number of JQuery plugin's into HTML & CSS sites, and also into wordpress sites. I can manipulate them, change effects and style them. I am learning more JQuery at this time and can not create my own plugins yet.
SEO
I build my sites according to the basic standards and code each section accordingly. I know how to implement it and use meta tags and fields, and how to add it into a WordPress site as well.
Illustrator
I use Illustrator to create logo's and to manipulate text and create vectors. Once I've done what I need, I then use Photoshop to take care of the rest by using smart objects to keep the original vectors integrity. I use it, but not as often as Photoshop.
